especially vitamins B, B1 and B2; also excellent source of
iron, zinc and calcium as well as other micro nutrients, characteristic
of whole foods
|
Predominantly
rich in fibers, it is an excellent regulator of intestinal
functions, promotes prolonged filling sensation and is widely
used in weight control diets. Its major portion is carbohydrates,
an excellent source of energy. It should be part of meals as
a substitute for other foods with similar composition, such
as breads and cookies, to avoid reverse effects. Another very
important property of fiber, is the hipocholesterol power,
that is, it reduces the plasmatic cholesterol and helps to
maintain the normal levels of glicemia.
It is widely used by athletes due to its energetic value and
privileged composition of carbohydrates, most needed for physical
work.
Its flavor is widely appreciated and the granola can be consumed
plain or with your favorite yogurt, fermented milk, milk, fruit,
smoothies or whatever else comes to mind.

HELP
NATURE
Recycling is to reuse materials that can be transformed.
It reduces the amount of trash and saves up water, energy
and raw materials. For recycling to be effective, it
is important to practice selective waste collection in
our daily lives, starting with our domestic garbage.
Separate recyclable materials for the selective collection,
be responsible and always reuse!
- Trash decomposing time:
| Paper |
03 to 06 months |
| Plastic bags |
30 to 40 years |
| Cans |
80 to 100 years |
| Glass bottles |
1 million years |
| Plastic bottles |
Not determined |
|
Did
you know that…
- A human being produces approximately
5 kg of trash daily
- 90% of domestic garbage goes to sanitary landfills
-Less than 5% of the trash in Brazil is recyclable.
-If we think that 50 k of recycled paper represents one tree,
it would be easier to imagine how many trees we could save simply
by recycling.
Gaiatri recycles 90% of its trash, industrial (plastic, paper,
bags, glass and cans), organic residues (vegetable skins, cereal
refuse, etc.) this way contributing to a better, cleaner and
more sustainable planet.
Do your part. Recycle whenever possible.
